Instead of supplying a list of names which each individual on Nicks can find faults or favour across that list

I feel a general few percent from the the whole playing group would be more what’s needed

Really two close final games in 2018 & 19 give the group a positive veiw

Time to complain if that’s what you want is deep in the 2020 season

^^ add Elliott to your list. Did well in a team where we have multiple avenues to goal now and on the back of missing the entire 2018 season.

I thought Mihocek was fantastic. Topped the goal kicking and works his arse off. For a guy in his second season of football.
This is a guy who commentators were saying is one of the most underrated/underpaid in the league as a rookie but capable of commanding $500k pa at another club.

I think the OP was a fun idea but the nomination of some of these players is, of itself, 'terrible'.

As for my nomination - WHE was the most disappointing in 2019 for mine of this list.
I expect more out of De Goey in 2020 as he has started the year off fitter than last. More midfield time, more clearances and more damage as a result. Delicious

Our decrease in quality for season ironically or other factors coincided with loss of both Stevo and Cox and this gave Elliott a bigger than expected work load
De Goey with some injuries and poor form of WHE and scratchy form Thomas
so making Preliminary was a better result than people realise

The club in making sure our guys receive the appropriate fitness training and management to reduce the number of injuries and prepare the team for a tilt at a flag.

Furthermore, improve list management and seek the "other" key forward we so desperately need to secure success, i.e. the next Lynch whilst retaining our core stars.

Will Hoskins Elliott - Injury interrupted pre-season in 2019, should be better in 2020

Miocheck - I don't think he can work any harder than he does, is our forward line grunt, going missing can sometimes be his role when he takes his player away

Phillips - wasn't as good in 2019 as 2018, but I think his role changed a bit

JDG - Injury interrupted 2019 full stop. If he gets an injury free run look out

Elliott - Injured again in the mid part of the season, should be better in 2020

Stevo - Foolish interruption, our forward line is much better with him in it

Sidey - Not a youngster any more, like him at half forward

Adams - Injury interrupted 2019 we are much better with him at the coal face

Howe - Injuries reduced his effectiveness, I don't think he stands out as much in the back half anymore due to the improvement in the defensive unit

Wills - Only came in late and proved his worth in competition with Sier for a spot

Sier - Injury interrupted season, now in competition with Wills for a spot
