Sorry to read about your injury woes. Get well soon and look after yourself.
Please comment on what you've seen of Nathan Murphy and Trey Ruscoe. Thanks. |
thank you Mr Harrysz.
I like the cut of Nathan Murphy's jib. He is a product of the St James East Bentleigh football factory, mentored by the legendary Spider Kennedy who coached premiership player Dawes at Sandy Dragons. He is fearless and has really worked hard on his running patterns to become a far more durable player. His upper body physique is still a working progress but will play some serious minutes in 2020.
Trey Ruscoe is built for battle and has an innate desire for being in a contest- backs himself physically and has shown courage by committing his body developing body in match sim under pressure. Has very good closing speed and seems to be acutely aware of how he positions his body to thwart his immediate opponent in ground balls. This is not a skill that many possess at such a tender age. I believe that he can already be considered in the mix for a senior spot. He will certainly keep those ahead of him honest.
Much to like about both lads, to be sure.
I will try and keep safe- seeing the surgeon Friday and hoping for a good prognosis on the wrist- never realised how difficult it is to shave/brush teeth and manscape left-handed.

Great work Lad as always. For many a year you have been the highlight of the off season with your dedication and attention to detail in your training reports. A must read for all Collingwood supporters. Even more so this time under duress. May you have a speedy recovery from your injuries.
On a side note you may already have the quote of the year half through January.
"never realised how difficult it is to shave/brush teeth and manscape left-handed."

Joining with many others in applauding the eloquence of your training report WL and thanking you immensely for it.
BB, I too was really impressed with the way Trey Ruscoe presented himself and it's very pleasing that WL is impressed with what he's seen of him on the paddock. One I'll be watching with great interest over the coming season (s). |

Thankyou thankyou and thankyou WL!!
So delightful and refreshing to read a quality written article in comparison to the butchered English language I get to witness everyday through texts and social media in general. My daughters drive me crazy but times are changing.
Could you or anyone with sound knowledge of our players, please tell me about the skills ( kicking skills in particular ) of Rantall, T.Brown, Ruscoe, Wilson, Murphy and Kelly?
Hope your health stands the test of time WL. _________________ Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero. |

I know this was asked recently but I can’t find it... what is the training schedule this week? I find myself in Australia and Melbourne for the first time in more than 3 years. Would be great to get along if it’s not forced indoors again by the smoke. TIA _________________ https://forever.collingwoodfc.com.au/sav-sinks-the-dockers/ |
