"Mid-season recruit John Noble is set to be rewarded for his eye-catching start to his AFL career with a new deal at Collingwood.
Foxsports.com.au understands the mature-age rookie will be re-signed after the trade deadline closes next Wednesday night.

Collingwood will present the South Australian with at least a one or two-year deal after a strong finish to 2019"

"Collingwood midfielder Brayden Sier has signed a fresh contract extension, reports AFL.com.au’s Mitch Cleary.

Sier was without a contract for 2020 but the Magpies have moved to lock the 21-year-old away for the next two years."

So if this is correct, it leaves;

2020
James Aish, Atu Bosenavulagi, Callum Brown, Tyler Brown, Mason Cox, Josh Daicos, Jordan De Goey, Brodie Grundy, Will Kelly, Chris Mayne, Brodie Mihocek, Darcy Moore, Nathan Murphy, Scott Pendlebury, Jordan Roughead, Matt Scharenberg

2019
Ben Crocker, Lynden Dunn, Ben Reid, Travis Varcoe, Rupert Wills

^ Looks right. Only addition may be Flynn Appleby to 2020 list. Have a feeling he was given a 2 year contract in 2018.

I believe that if Mason Cox plays 1 more match he triggers an extra year, meaning he would be contracted til 2021. Don’t hold me to this, don’t have a link to an article to back it up. Maybe someone can confirm?

Langdon is up in 2020 as well the club holds a 1 year option in its favour
AFL trade said both Langdon and Scharenberg are up for grabs
Known for some time club and Langdon had been a loggerhead over his knee late this season and reports are Langdon wanted security of longer deal in case his knee didn’t recover from operation club refused to give it to him
Don’t know how the knee is now he wasn’t sighted at training during finals in rehab group
Scharenberg apparent,y isn’t happy missing the finals for whatever reason be it match up or club preferring someone else and has told club so
On trade value Langdon wouldn’t bring more than a 3rd round pick given his injury history
Scharenberg was a pick 6 but has a history of knee issues so his value has tumbled but his best is obviously good likely a pick in the second round would be what we would want if we did decide to release him

This is the information on footywire. There are a couple to take off the list (Sier and the rumoured Treloar deal haven't yet been updated) but it is reasonably up to date (so it includes Elliott's contract):

So right now we need to worry about;
Ben Crocker (Likely delisting)
Lynden Dunn (Delisting or rookie spot)
Ben Reid (1 year deal on the cards)
Travis Varcoe (1 year deal on the cards)
Rupert Wills (I was sure he signed already. Surly he gets another 1 or 2 year extension).

And in the very near future we need to worry about:
James Aish (Want to re-sign. But no huge hurry. Involved in trade rumours).
Atu Bosenavulagi (We'll see what happens in 2020 and decide then).
Callum Brown and Tyler Brown (You'd think both will be signed up during the year).
Mason Cox (The one game trigger thing).
Josh Daicos (Will see what happens in 2020 and decide then).
Will Kelly (Will get an extension. I have high hopes for this one).
Chris Mayne (May get a 1 year deal depending on his 2020. Will be a drop in pay thats for sure).
Brodie Mihocek (Should get an extension).
Nathan Murphy (Still very young. We'll see what happens in 2020, but should get another gig).
Scott Pendlebury (Can stay until he is 40 if you ask me).
Jordan Roughead (Should get an extension).
Matt Scharenberg (Like Aish, involved in trade talks atm. We'll see what happens).
And finally;
Jordan De Goey, Brodie Grundy and Darcy Moore (The main priority. We expect that at least 2 of these guys will sign extensions. Other clubs will be crawling around though. If we make the right moves right now, all 3 will stay after 2020).

The next couple of weeks should clear a lot of this up.

Insightful article with a mix of trade and contract info. Contains some stuff we already knew:
https://amp.theage.com.au/sport/afl/aish-put-on-trade-table-as-pies-look-to-manage-tight-cap-20191013-p5308u.html

“Collingwood have placed contracted defender James Aish on the trade table as the Magpies look to manage their tight salary cap to clear space ahead of a potentially clutch year of re-signings.

Industry sources have told The Age that courageous backman Aish has been encouraged to find a third AFL club, with the Pies willing to let the former No.7 draft pick go this week despite him being contracted for another 12 months.

Rupert Wills considers the prospect of playing elsewhere next year despite having a contract offer in front of him from Collingwood.

Sier has agreed to a two-year deal to remain at Collingwood.

Collingwood have also re-signed mid-year rookie recruit John Noble

Ben Reid wants to play on next year and a deal is likely to be done, while Travis Varcoe is in discussions with the club over a one-year deal.

^

Is it too soon to start worrying about whether he'll re-sign for 2028?

Probably - but there’s JDG and Moore to obsess about for the next little while. Also, the Future Captain is out of contract at the end of the season - I expect a very large thread (300 pages plus) about that.

Maynard, who was due to come out of contract at the end of the 2020 season, is now signed until the end of the 2022 campaign. Phillips is contracted until the end of the 2021 season.’

Bit of good news in a somewhat difficult time. Love Bruzzy and how he attacks the game with aggression, and Flip runs all day.

Merge this with List Management Updates and pin it.

Pretty sure Tay Adams isn’t out of contract.
