I'm pretty sure Laubachanuge is Sri Lankan, not Aussie. Decent wicketkeeper. 3rd cousin of Liyanage, I heard. Also distant relative of Vithanage. |

Williamson ? Abject failure in the 2 Tests against Australia.
No Pujara (averages 50 in Tests) or Rohit (127, 176 & 212 during last 6 innings) ? _________________ Donny.
It's a game. Enjoy it. |

cricinfo's Test team of the past decade:
Cook
Warner
Williamson
Kohli
Smith
Stokes
de Villiers
Ashwin
Anderson
Steyn
Herath.
They squeezed ABCDV in by making him wicketkeeper. Whichever way you interpret it, a sad statement on wicketkeeping. Either wicketkeepers were so mediocre this past decade they didn't want to include one, or they've invoked the modern practice of making batsmen keep. Probably both. |
