Maybe Prince Andrew went to see him to scope out if he was going to come clean about everything....? Then Epstein dies suddenly & unexpectedly... as did Diana didn't she?

Now, I don't believe Diana was done in by the Palace, but many do. They'll now be claiming the palace has a history of getting rid of those who could bring shame to the House of Windsor...

That’s a conspiracy theory I find much harder to get on board with. It’s like the JFK assassination – what threat, exactly, were these people supposed to pose to the powerful? At least with Epstein you have a clear motive.

IIR correctly, at the time Diana's behaviour was considered by many royalists to be an embarrassment to the Crown. Once she was divorced, they couldn't control her any more but she was still the mother of the direct heirs to the throne.

I was never a big observer, but it wouldn't be hard top make a case for a fix up.

In regard to Epstein and the allegations against Prince Randy Andy, wasn't the girl he was alleged to have had sex with 17 at the time? Is the issue US law or UK law because it wasn't that long ago the UK was very lax in that area.

Page 3 topless models in the paper started at age 16, I found an old mens magazine cleaning up the house in Toc, published in England in 1972 and sold here legitimately at the time like Penthouse or Playboy. The centrefold was a 16 year old schoolgirl. I read the article. That magazine under current Australian laws could be considered child pornography.

While it’s not against the law to sleep with a 17 year old in most jurisdictions (including here and many – but not all – US states), the bigger problem was that she was being employed as a prostitute / sex slave by Epstein – and I’m not sure of any country where it’s legal to sleep with an underage sex worker. So if the allegations are true, then he’s presumably committed a crime. What’s more, Epstein is known to have trafficked girls as young as 14, and many of them were allegedly made to perform sexual services on his rich friends. All of this is on record, but for some reason Epstein is (to my knowledge) the only one who’s ever served time over it, while his close friends, including Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Alan Dershowitz, Steven Pinker, Kevin Spacey and many others who also appear numerous times on the flight logs of his private jet over the years, have mostly escaped scrutiny until now. So the possibility is, if Andrew was an active participant in this particular crime, then she may not have been the only one.

At one time and with parental permission you could be 16 and pose naked also in Australia.

It happened with Penthouse Australia magazine probably 20 years or so ago.

Yeah when I saw the 9/11 comment I thought I’d give it a miss. She never should have been there, her cheating ^&*^*% husband killed her. Aside from the queen and William and his missus, they are all dead to me!

That a 60 year old man could have his mum decide to cancel his birthday party says everything you want about that institution. Bring on the Republic, Eddie for President.

If you’re after a quick and dirty backgrounder on the rise and fall of Jeff Epstein, here’s a video from back in July (when he was charged and put in custody pending trial). It explores some interesting conundrums about Epstein, his career, and associates.

‘Epstein stories you won’t find in the news’: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vc-uysS6Tlw

It’s a long a winding road, with a lot of rabbit holes along the way. But it brings up some amazing cross-overs. Not least of which is this: It was Donald Barr, headmaster of the prestigious Dalton School in New York, who gave a young Epstein a job as a maths and physics teacher in 1973 (although Epstein held no teaching qualifications). Donald Barr’s son is William Barr the heavy-jowled US Attorney General responsible for investigating Epstein’s ‘suicide’.

If you find this interesting there appears to be several more updates on the Epstein affair by the same video creator, ‘Amazing Polly’.

(If anything, it’s a reminder just what a powerful informational tool the Internet is. Twenty years ago a story like this would take a team of investigative journos weeks of extensive world travel to cobble together)

I still can't get over the owner of Victoria's Secret, Leslie Wexner, giving him complete power of attorney back in the 1990s for no apparent reason.
