Just read on the AFL app that Max Lynch is to be elevated onto the primary list.
Assuming that’s correct, I must admit I find that a little surprising.

^^^

"In limbo: Veteran defender Lynden Dunn is expected to get delisted, but remains a chance to either be placed on the rookie list or remain with the club for pre-season training with the option of re-joining as an SSP signing. Talks are ongoing over a contract extension for Rupert Wills (pictured), while there have been reports that veterans Ben Reid and Travis Varcoe are on the verge of re-signing. Max Lynch will be elevated to the senior list. John Noble is likely to get a new deal following his strong finish to the year, but the signs aren't good for Ben Crocker, while Tim Broomhead also remains without a contract.

Delisted: Sam Murray
Retired: Tyson Goldsack, Daniel Wells"

afl.com.au reporters are very rarely correct.

From what I've seen, they are guilty of making up facts to satisfy their story.

Can be signed as a delisted player I think.

TBH, I doubt we'd go there.

Would be an interesting call.

27 years old 185cm midfielder.

Been linked to Richmond.

I really hope we do, plenty of upside

To some peoples delight, Levi Casbolt triggered his one year clause and has remained with Carlton on a one year deal.

Better/younger option than Jenkins. But reports suggest his management had no calls during or before trade week.

Well, MTG, afl.com.au gave the Pies 5/10. Yay, we passed! Right?

That score doesn't mean much to me. What does is it even mean?

I think it means....of the gaps we had in the team, our trade period can be scored 5/10 in terms of how effective it was in filling those gaps.

I would have rated it 3/10 as we missed on a key forward and midfield speed. We only ticked the box on a ruckman.

Maybe the 5/10 is 2 added points for freeing up cap space for Grundy and JDG.

^ you would have rated it 3 out of 10 had we got the first 10 draft picks, secured Dangerfield and the other Cameron

The fans' rating was worse!

AFL.com.au's rating: 5/10
Fans' rating: 4.8/10

The fans rank Collingwood equal third-worst with Adelaide, ahead of Port 3.3 and Carlton 4.8.

I haven't spoke to any fan from any club who's happy with their trade. Even WC fans are divided over Kelly, they're screwed in the draft for the next two years. Geelong won't know until they've used their picks. Hawthorn fans think their club is now a rehab centre for disabled players.

I don't know, because I refuse to speak to non-Collingwood fans. Cool
