The same source that told me Langdon’s knee needed a operation 6 weeks before club announced he was getting operation says his knee hasn’t come through the operation as they had hoped.
He’s still suffering severe swelling and information in the joint along with a degenerative bone issue causing the bone to start crumbling against another bone and basically flake away
...

If that's true, then it sort of justifies Tom's alleged reluctance to have the operation earlier.

Collingwoods social media team beat the AFL website this week:

Daniel Wells - Knee (TEST)

Darcy Moore - Hamstring (TEST)

Brayden Sier - Calf (TEST)

James Aish, Jordan De Goey, Isaac Quaynor, Ben Reid and Will Kelly are all listed as unavailable. Bit of a worry with JDG there.

Mason Cox, Dayne Beams, Lynden Dunn and Tom Langdon all out for the year.

AFL one will be up tomorrow.

I know this thread is about our injuries, but could be significant for us that Mark Hutchings for WC did a hammie on the weekend. Hutchings is the one that tagged Sidey our of last year's GF, and was missing when we beat the WC few weeks ago.

The JDG thing disturbing but staying fit I regard Billy as more than adaquate filling the forward part of Jordan,s role and seeing’as the mids are more productive Jordan’s mid role compensated

Still like ‘em both but

Moore faces a test and could return for the big final round clash with Essendon at the MCG on Friday night. De Goey and Aish will target the Pies' first final, while Wells and Sier appear set to return in the VFL. Quaynor still seems some time away and Kelly is also being managed conservatively, while Reid faces an uphill battle to play again this season. The suspended Stephenson will be available at finals time but the campaign is over for Cox, Langdon, Beams and Dunn. - Ben Collins

No one goes on this week thank F!

Moore, Wells and Phill Inn all expected to play at some level this week. Very exciting.

I think IQ and Kelly are being wrapped up until next season. Hence the "TBC". Both might magically be off the list once the VFL season is over. We'll see. Is IQ still in the moon boot? Is he training at all?

Aish and JDG will undergo tests next week. But it would have been nice to get both back before finals started.

There's been talk that Reid is very close to full fitness too. He wont be playing in the VFL, so maybe the club is just going to wrap him up just in case.

With Wells, Moore & Sier all back and Aish & De Goey close along with the return of Stephenson.... Maybe, just maybe we could do something special in September. If we can somehow knock off Essendon and end up 4th... Imagine winning the first final having that extra week off and having everyone but Cox, Langdon, Dunn and Beams to choose from in the Prelim.

With a week off between the R23 and the finals, we have a few new concerns. (Still a VFL game tomorrow)

Probable Tests For First Final:
Scharenberg - Concussion. Should be ok
Sidebottom - Nut. Should be ok
Darcy Moore - Hamstring.
Josh Thomas - Knee. Hopefully we dont get bad news in the next few days
James Aish - Shoulder.
Jordan De Goey - Hamstring.

Bit of a mystery:
Isaac Quaynor - Foot
Ben Reid - Calf and Hamstring
Will Kelly - Hamstring

Gone for the year:
Mason Cox - Eye (Season)
Dayne Beams - Hip/Shoulder (Season)
Lynden Dunn - Knee (Season)
Tom Langdon - Knee (Season)
