I think what’s under appreciated the most in Treloars game, is his metres gained per game. Footy is a territory game.
I’m not as critical of the thoughtless skewed bombs into the forward line as some are. It at least buys us time to reset our defence while it’s coming back at twice the speed. Of course you want him to spot up more team mates but he is coming off a nasty injury and it just looks to me like he has taken most of the season to get his mojo back.
Having said that, I wouldn’t mind if I never saw one of those over the back of his head handballs again though 😡 |

Strange thing to dredge up the day after gws get smacked in the gf.
Strange thing to highlight period.
A large percentage of players never get any where near premiership success - both these players have gone very close. Hardly embarrassing for us.

^ not strange at all, given Treloar selected us over Richmond and since then, Richmond have won a couple of flags and one of the reasons Adam selected Collingwood was to win premierships.

You might throw money in there too - but they’ll still pick the club with the most upside along with it.

He's 0 - 2 in that he could very well have just played in his second premiership if he picked Richmond.
What I'm saying is no player should ever say they are coming to Collingwood to win premierships. We're cursed enough, we don't need a hex on top of a curse.
