I saw this at the end of the match in M32. Were David and Woods involved in this by any chance? Wink

Well, that's definitely not David's head peeping up above the banner. Wink

Don’t be bringing banners with non football messages on them.

Not me – I was at home putting my son to bed – but great work, whoever it was!

I do think that the football, like any public space, can be a legitimate place for political protest.

Any public space? I don't know...
Not any time in that public space, right?

Can you think of some examples that wouldn't be?

Well, how do we define "political"?

Is it something where there are real strong and lasting differences based along political-party lines?

Is it any "social issue"?

Is it anything not related to the primary purpose of the "public space"?

I don''t know how "public space" is defined, either. The MCG is not some place where people can just wander like a public square.
