Strange but I don't think I've ever felt this angry after a win.
Probably due to nearly losing another game on the G after being 5 goals up with memories of GF day still fresh.
Hate to know how the supporters of the team that actually lost are feeling.
LOL.

Thankful that Bucks said something. Essendon supporters are dead set brain dead and a disgrace.
Well done Pendles.
Pies gutsy but lucky to win with absolutely shocking finishing. Pies cannot win a flag with this sort of customary kicking nonsense.
Flush this game and move on. _________________ President - Coffs Harbour Collingwood Supporters Assoc. Inc. |

Very lucky to scrap through in the end.
Essendon fans are a disgrace for booing also.

The worrying take home, both West Coast grand final and this game. When Essendon got their game going we were beaten across the ground.
The only thing that saved us was the margin. Looks at half time and after our scoring dried right up... just like the grand final. |
Yup, worrying that we couldn't find a way to get the game back on to our terms. We held on....just...but Essendon had the momentum for the whole second half. |

That DH still booing after Bucks called them out on TV must be proud because now millions know he is a fair dinkum wanker.
They forget they got a bs goal after Langdon was denied a mark and then freed in a 50/50/

Yes we did. We stuck it out, stopped them from getting in front on the scoreboard. We won it. |
Time in front: Collingwood 102.50; Essendon - zip.
Nor, it should be said, did Essendon ever look capable of beating us - although it did look for much of the game (including our dominating first quarter, in which we probably finished with 4 fewer goals than we should have had on the play) like we might contrive to beat ourselves. Anyway, I hope the Essendon supporters are all banned for life (all of them - not just the ones at the ground) for booing Pendles like that. He’s been too good for their sorry excuse for a bunch of drug cheats for about 14 seasons in a row. |

After all the crap Essenscum have done over the last few years, their dickhead fans are the last people that should be booing anyone. What an absolute disgrace. Disgusting. Nathan was spot on. Shame on those pieces of trash for booing one of the best players who has ever played the game.
Anyway. That was a game that was a lot closer than it should have been. Our set shot kicking was deplorable. We could lose a final if that isn’t cleaned up. Other than that, it was another one of those games early in the season that we could easily have lost, but showed enough toughness and composure to get the win. That’s what I’ll take out of it more than anything. _________________ I, for one, welcome our new black and white overlords |

A remarkable game from Pendlebury.
Hoskin Elliott did well in his first game back, 16 touches and 77% game time. A little rusty, missing a goal he'd never normally miss, but a good game.
Disappointing to lose clearances by 11. _________________ Well done boys! |

skill errors and hand pass' are a combination that make us look like we are playing in quick sand. we let teams back in the contest and we try to wrestle these matches back by playing the same way. I don't get it.
the play of the day was in the 3rd when Greenwood took on the game with a kick that led to an open running goal to Stephenson. it was against instruction because he was the only player to do just that. _________________ no second chances |

Roughhead was great .
I think Moore was very good.
Varcoe struggled.
We missed Elliott.
Hoskin-Eliott was alright for first game back.
Pendles brilliant and well deserved winner.
Thomas was poor I think. Really lucky to be holding his spot _________________ "To know nothing of events before your birth, is to forever remain a child" - Cicero (Roman Lawyer/Senator) 46 BCE. |

Don't agree at all!!! We were valiant in holding off another gallant side for two quarters!!!! We may not have played brilliantly for four quarters, we showed all the determination in the world. |
