So BetEasy thinks there's a 74% chance Port will beat Richmond.
And a 78% chance the Pies will beat Liam Picken's boys. |

Well, that didn't go the way the punters thought.
The market's going at about 50% right now. You'd reckon that'd improve as the season goes on, once it becomes more obvious which teams are having good or bad years. |

With one game left in R5, the market is at 50%. If you've tipped 60+%, you're doing very well. |

Got a nice multi that round.
Did a 2 leg - M.Crouch/P.Wright (30 possessions/3 goals) into Cats at the line (-11.5) @ 14/1.... 2 metre Peter, kicking his 3rd with a minute on the clock was sweet, listening in the ute after an hour safety meeting.
I came out of the meeting and checked fanfooty, thought the game was over, bugger.... Wright had kicked 2.3, Crouch had 34, just missed
Got in the car, and the game was still going!..... 2 minutes to go!!!!
Wright kicks his 3rd, GC only kicked 6 all day.
Makes a game of footy, so much fun _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

Some early big movers!
Tigers into 1.41 (1.7)
Port into 1.25 (1.45)
Lions into 1.38 (1.58 )
Freo 1.39 (1.65)
The difference between this 4 leg multi early... and now, is massive!!!
If youn got on it at the open, you got 13/2. Now, you'll get around 5/2.
4 certainties let's see.... |

If I had a book, I'd have Richmond at $1.12 and the fags at $4.50
How any betting agency opened the Tigers at $1.70 is remarkable, someone will probably lose their job over that bungle. Melbourne couldn't beat time with a stick. |

Well, if there was a rush of small bets, they had time to adjust. The risk is if there's one huge bet of e.g. $50,000 and that guy wins. |

They would never bet that K, they take a bit (about $100) at those odds, then throw you shorter odds for the balance.
The commercial bookies are gutless wonders, they all wait for others to frame their market and panic when a punter pulls out a handful of pineapples.
Miss the bookie rings at the races in the 70's & 80's... there was punters/bookies with balls of steal. Today, they're all mathematicians wnking in their fluffy ducks, with bimbos and mirrors on the balcony at Crown. |
