Saw a bit of this guy on TV when I was able to catch the VFL and he looks like he could be anything. I’d be sad if we did not give him a spot of some kind.

Because they have shown the Most Interest in him.
Though IF not Drafted he signed to our VFL Team

That’s the rub I guess—did we see value in having him stay with our club
And if we saw value have we acted to see him a Collingwood player or is there more to play out
Oh that part about St Kilda just saw a chance to ridicule them

Heaps of players get invited to train at many clubs this time of year.
This is not unusual in any way.
Any club can still draft him. Or not.

I don't know that we need to "invite" someone who is already here. Besides, it would be good experience to witness first-hand the machinations and inner-workings of another club.
