Interesting and funny observation from The Guardian on Morrisons current fair dinkum persona.

The prime minister is the nations daggy dad and hes going to show you just how ridgy-didge he is:

He didnt want the job, it was handed to him just ask him.

Below are some memorable quotes. But who said them? Our 30th prime minister, or an Australian icon?

"Thats why you keep backing it in. If something is working well, you should back it in. And thats what we are doing here."

Scott Morrison

Alf Stewart from Home and Away

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"The right is constantly procreating while the left is grooming a dead dog."

Scott Morrison

Cleaver Greene from Rake

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Its a simple rule: pants first, shoes second. That always usually works for me."

Scott Morrison

Alvin Purple from the movie of the same name
...."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Laughing Laughing

There are plenty of other quotes where he has stolen lines just to show how fair dinkum he is. Friggin phoney.

This bloke is an embarrassment to the position of Prime Minster.

Well, he's no Kevin Rudd.

And I dare say ScoMo knows how to eat a sausage in a roll.

He's another middle of the road Liberal with a political tin ear afraid of his own shadow.

As much as a Shorten government is horrifying I'm hoping for a Liberal wipeout so they can figure out what they stand for and find an actual leader.

I'll say it now I preferred Abbott to Morrison, because, ok, the guy was crazy, but you got the sense that he actually believed in and cared about some things. And Turnbull may have been a sell-out and a coward, but at least he was likeable. Morrison, on the other hand, just seems like the quintessential used-car dealer politician. Just a total phoney.

With Julia Banks heading to the Cross Bench will a no confidence motion be called? Will they now attack Dutton and get him to produce the evidence?
With the budget moved forward to April that dictates a May election.

They might, but does Labor really want to inflict a federal election on everyone just before Xmas?

LOL, guess we'll see.

They may do it anyway assuming a no confidence motion won't get through. Wink

Wow. Were well and truly in Labor 2013 territory now, which is to say that the iceberg has been struck and the orchestra have their instruments ready to play.

If you listen to the head honchos in the LNP they are certainties to win the next election. No disconnection from reality at all.

A long way to go still. The federal election notwithstanding the Danslide in Victoria is no shoe-in for the ALP. There is still a hell of a long way to go.

Remember some people do think that there is nothing wrong at all with Pauline Hanson and David Leyonhjelm or deny Climate Change; even if they represent a small carbuncle on the arse of Australia.

Don't be cautious, WPT. Labor's a certainty to win.
