Of course it's possible.

'Likely' however is a bit of a stretch of the imagination.

GWS lifted hard out for the Sydney derby. I expect a few of their younger players to be a little flat next week. Besides, the AFL is more likely to draw a packed MCG crowd with a Richmond v Collingwood PF than with a Richmond v GWS PF.

Very proud of the effort.Adam T was great and will be better next week.
In fact i believe that all our team will be even better next week as a result of this baptism through fire. Many lessons will be drawn.
While gutted we did not win, i thought the overall game measured up and i believe that we can take out GWS on the G.

I expect we'll beat GWS next week and then get smashed by Richmond. Gutting, but you have to look at things in perspective. The season's been a great ride, and maybe we can still cause a bit of damage ourselves.

Only one I can think of from the top of my head is the Lions in 2003. Crying or Very sad

There've been more than a few others – this is just from the last 25 years:

1993: Essendon
1998: Adelaide
2005: Sydney
2006: West Coast
2015: Hawthorn

^ Carlton, 1970 is another one that comes to mind reasonably easily.

History says you're not likely to win a flag after losing the first final but it's not impossible.

It's best to take it one step at a time, rather than looking so far ahead.

If we're going to be brutally honest, most people didn't expect us to win tonight so we're heading down the path that most people expected us to take.
