Laughing Laughing It's been very heartening to see him emerge into a very valuable player. We've had some good stories in amongst the dreaded injury catastrophes this year and he's one of them.

Yes. Agree totally. Brody Mihocek is awesome. He reads the play brilliantly, and gets in the right position at the right time. His kicking for goal is magnificent. I love him. He is now a crucial lynchpin in our team. So happy for him.
He is also a wonderful, steadying influence on the more young guys in our team. He stabilizes their emotions.

superb game from Brodie tonight. Another guy i got wrong. I thought he was just a list stuffer but he is doing really well up forward. Knows where the goals are and very sure with his hands.

An old-school no-nonsense footballer. Love him!

Been one of the highlights of the year.

I must admit I thought he was going to be a see ball, punch ball back man like Presti or Nathan Brown. He’s playing a role much more similar to the Anvil, Leigh Brown up forward.

I actually think he is a see ball punch ball backman and is probably not AFL standard at it. don't you think its interesting that he hasn't been put back there even though we are desperate for someone like him back there (we are down to Oxley and Madgen FFS).

Buckley has brilliantly been able to unlock a forward with some strings to his bow. I actually think he is playing the Chris Dawes role. Do all the dirty work, provide a decoy for others and scramble goals when you can.

I guess he’s been so crucial to the forward line set up and our scoring power that Bucks is backing our midfield and forwards to minimise the time in our back half.

I reckon Leigh Brown did a lot of those things too.

Just wanted to see if i wasn't alone in my appreciation of this bloke.

He sort of won that game for us today, 2 goals in about a minute with about 9 minutes to go when we were 8 points down. Freeo just weren't able to claw it back from there.

And to think he made his AFL debut in round 11 this year.

He's become one of my favourites.

He was an absolute beast in that final quarter.

Yes, he was a hero in the end, but...he also cost us a goal when he tried to take that mark over a team mate and dropped it...
