Hey, I held back the news about Pendlebury reinjuring his finger in his car door today! |
Has this been confirmed? I heard he did it picking his nose. |

So long we have a red hot go, and worry these over confident tiger pricks, and their arrogant insufferable fans, I will be happy. Look, I don't expect to win this one YET, the Tigers are at full strength, they always are, we are not, if Treloar was in, and Dunn, id be more confident. Im not too worried if we lose, tigers will be hot faves which is good for us, really. But, im not concerned if we lose so long as we learn from the defeat, and save it for next time we meet em, maybe in the Finals. But,we could win, u never know, footy is a funny game, upsets happen, we may well pinch this one. if I go along,as I am, with the attitude we will probably lose, then if we do win, its a big nice surprise eh, well, LOL, that's my theory. !! _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

With the performance of our side this season two things have largely been forgotten.
1. How so many of us at the start of year were looking forward to seeing what Kirby might have been able to add to our forward line.
2. How bloody good Elliott is.
Sadly the future of Kirby remains unclear but with only 5 rounds left in the H&A season the allure of selecting Elliott this week will be high.
Fasolo another forgotten talent seemingly out of favour but one who hasn't had a proper opportunity to see what he can deliver in this new improved Collingwood side. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

I wouldn't be surprised. Last time, he broke it on a leprechaun's shirt:

With the players sent for scans when I was watching the game Saturday with mates one made the comment he thought Sidey was playing busted for a couple weeks.
Said he had lacked that usual quick first couple steps to get out of trouble
I've seen him taped up around the head a bit lately but it may make sense he's carrying a leg injury of some sort and being forced to play on due to our ever growing injury list
If he is a bit busted this week is ideal for him to miss. It's a game we aren't expected to win and there high pressure high tackle game would only mean he's a higher chance to get hurt further
Give him a week off if needed and get him cherry ripe for the coming weeks games we can win
We have 12 wins now and need 13 to play finals which many of us said was the pass mark prior to the year starting.
If we can somehow win 3 more games a top 4 spot would likely be ours
Hopefully Moore comes up this week and plays on Jack R
There quick small forwards we may need to jig our backline accordingly
Murray has the speed to go with Rioli and hopefully the smarts. Crisp will be vital
If Langdon is struggling with his knee again then this is a good game to give him a week off and bring in a quicker defender
If we can control the contest and not give them the opportunity for quick ball movement then we are a chance
If Cox can keep Rance away from the contest in our forward 50 then I think we can expose some of the defenders
They don't like sides who keep the ball away from them so aerially we need to be very strong
Grundy is pivotal here he needs to really give us a clear advantage around the ground
If we can get Moore back and don't lose Sidey I like our chances but if I was coaching I wouldn't be risking anyone who's less than 95% give them a week off and look forward to the next block of games to cement our top 4 chances |

Sidebottom had a scan on his Jaw.. said if it requires surgery it would be as many as 4 weeks.. should the scan come up clean he will be right to go this week.. obviously is sore enough to get a scan so don’t like our chances _________________ THE PIES DELIVERED IN 2010 |

That's just what we need. Sidey with a jaw fracture.
Unbelievable how unlucky we are with injuries this season. |

At some point it all has to come to an end for the tigers.
I understand that I am biased, but watching them I just don't get why they are so dominant.
With the exception of Dusty and Rance who would be a walk up start in other team?
If you compare line by line we stack up very well against them even with our injuries.
I bet that behind closed doors it is us that they fear.
Admittedly the ball seems to be bouncing their way at the moment but I for one don't think they are unbeatable by any stretch. _________________ It doesn't matter what happens.... I just love this bloody club! |

Tigers have the ability to play for a full 4 quarters.
If a team slacks off for any time during the game, they are able to take control.
And self belief has played a big part in their season together with a small injury list.
GWS beat them by hard running and pressure for the full game. _________________ If you are foolish enough to be contented, don't show it, but just grumble with the rest. - Jerome K Jerome |

I have watched them a lot. I used to think the same as you, “how and why are they so good?” But they are peg above all else at the moment. They’re fast, run in waves, and tackle like animals. Their defence stacks up against anyone’s, and their small forwards run rampant most weeks. Without our bet team on the park it’s going to be close to impossible to topple them. But I live in hope. _________________ Est. 2002 |
