Had a few good weeks in the VFL playing in the middle, so Carlton have persisted with positioning him in that area of the ground.

Based on his efforts on Gray in the middle of the second quarter, it’s fair to say that his number 1 is a little low. At any other club, he’d probably be on the fringes of the VFL list, wearing, say, 71.
