NO. Particularly with the skipper on doubt.

Judging by past comments, I think a lot of Nicksters think it was a couple of weeks too late.

there is no real "easy" games to ease a player of his age back into these days, even the Lions last week nearly ran us off our feet.

Shove him in, if he gets tired throw him to the forward line. His footy smarts alone would help de goey and Cox

the way I look at it, we are paying half a million dollars to him to help us smash the cats. Anything else is pure gravy. I would pay someone half a million to smash the cats!!! its worth it.

He's injury prone and so managing his fitness is paramount. We can't expect he'll play every game - because he won't. In fact he can't, and recent history has proven that. His body just isn't up to the rigours and demands of professional afl football. He deserves a shot though, especially if there's a question mark over pendles' fitness leading into tomorrows game.

I feel like we've just rolled the Maserati out of the garage - fuelled up and ready to go!

Yes,exactly^.Or to use a horse racing analogy, just as you wouldn't have Winx running in the 7th race at Mornington, you shouldn't have Daniel Wells running around some suburban V.F.L grounds on the week-end.

He completed the vast majority of the preseason, has been in the AFL system a very long time and has been playing in the VFL the past few weeks.

If he isn't ready now then he never will be.

Time to cock the trigger and fire.

Wells is a bit like speculative shares. Sell too early and you are an idiot, sell too late and you are a loser.
