Yes, reportedly hamstring injuries for both.

Adams has been in the trenches as opposed to track injury players

The way he has been throwing his body in no wonder sore

Groundhog Day. Again. And again. And again. 7 years of this sh!t.

Elliott said about 3-4 years ago his back is royally stuffed and his hamstrings will always be an ongoing management thing.

I think we need to consider trading him at season's end. He's my favourite player can't get on the park. St Kilda will prob take him ... straight swap for for Paddy McCartin?

FFS.

Either The Davoren Kid is no better than Buffalo Bill or the club needs to investigate the playing surface of Olympic Park.

Probably both as I'm not buying the bad luck line anymore when it's year after bloody year of soft tissue injuries.

You're probably on the money here RH, as much as it pains me to say. The back/hammy issues just can't stand the rigours of AFL footy unfortunately.

Anyone prepared to revisit the high altitude training crap.

You think that causes injuries, right? Why? (Most noise on this has been about it allegedly having no lasting benefit, but not about injury potential.)

Looked at Elliotts past seasons.
0 games in 2016, 17 last year
Will probably miss the first 6 this year at least.
Never kicked more than 35 goals a season, which is good
but hardly superstar material.
27 years old next year.
Has some trade value but will need to
prove his fitness this year.

Taylor Adams - Hamstring (Test)
Has sat out his estimated 1 week. A chance for Anzac Day? You'd think so considering the large break between games. I'd say he is certain to play against Richmond, but we'll see.

Jamie Elliott - Hamstring (Test)
Like Adams, has missed a week of footy. Don't think he'll be getting a call up to the seniors yet. Cant wait for him to play in the seniors again, but my gut feel is that he'll be playing VFL for at least 2 more games.

Levi Greenwood - Knee and quad (Test)
Must be close to a VFL return. We miss his big body in the middle.

Darcy Moore - Hamstring (1-2 weeks)
Can't see him getting up for Anzac Day. Can't wait to see him back out there. He's the great white hope.

Kayle Kirby - Irregular Heart Beat (TBC)
Im sure the club is doing everything to make sure Kayle will be ready to play soon. (Sadly, we saw a similar incident with St Kildas Dylan Roberton).

Tim Broomhead - Broken leg (Season)

Tyson Goldsack - Knee (Season)

With Broomy and 'Sack aside, things are starting to look up. We'll be keeping an eye on Wells and the others coming through the VFL. And we'll be anticipating the close return of some of our stars.

Yep. And it seems the medicos don't really know what happened in his case either.

The Broomhead accident looked horrific. (I also wonder what exactly is in that green stick.)

Randomly switching channels in disgust at Melbourne's seeming capitulation to the pathetic premiers, I saw the green whistle and heard it contains methoxyflurane, which led me to the following:

https://www.csiro.au/en/Research/MF/Areas/Biomedical/Health-and-wellbeing/Penthrox-green-whistle

I guess I have learnt something from MFC, then.
