The ground looks in great condition.

Our forward line on paper not so much.

We could have had Jeff Garlett for a late late pick 4-5 years ago. But Bucks had other ideas with his Blair, Goldsack, Crocker, Cox, et al magic men.

That's the worst forward line named on paper I've ever seen wear black and white. Seriously. Other clubs are laughing at us. And Adams and Crisp off half back? Buckley is done if this is our final team before the real stuff. I'm just about done. What a waste of 6-7 years of my football watching life it has been.

It's certainly the worst forward line in the current competition.

Adams again off HB........just delusional

Apart those named in the team, named on the bench and those on the injured list - WTF is Wills and Scharenberg???

Scharenberg likely on a modified program to get ready for round 1 which involved strengthening the legs without exposing him to the high intensity rough stuff (where fatigue and intensity might put pressure on his body). I actually think that's a great idea. Havent heard anything to suggest that he isnt on track for round 1. Has anyone else?

As for Wills, i'm not sure he has shown himself to be of AFL standard yet.

Great to see Moore, Howe and Treloar out there for their first run.

Still to see DeGoey, Scharenberg, Wells and Aish.

Not true. i think the guys on the bench will only get a half of footy so they are probably topping up with a VFL game. Wouldnt surprise to see both.

You all realize that this is pre-season footy, right? And that the goal is to get everyone ready for round 1. Are you really criticizing selection?

Still a disappointment that even if those players are ready to play round 1, many will be short of valuable match play and may not be at their best for the first game. So important in this competition to get off to a good start and we don't want to lose touch with the top teams with half a dozen games into the season.

From the look of that forward line,it looks like Buckley isn't interested in kicking goals anymore.Perhaps he's hoping for a nil all draw?

Looks like Bucks is parking the bus.
