Strangely not feeling enthusiastic about this season.
I’m usually champing at the bit come February, but nearly forgetting about last weeks JLT game made me question why??
Maybe it’s a busy life, maybe it’s the team/club....maybe it’s just age 😂.
Either way this is the least interested and motivated ive been the at the start of a footy season EVER!!!!
Hopefully a few early wins can turn things around. _________________ - Side By Side - |

Bad luck for Collingwood's Adam Oxley suffering an AC joint injury. Can still run but expected to be sidelined for around a month. Didn't play AFL last year with groin problems hampering him but he can play a role when fit. @agerealfooty _________________ All We Can Be |

I can already hear the negative voices on Nicks...."no Oxley, no Collingwood". |

DeGoey did his hammy last night at VFL training - awaiting scan results. |

A few back for them, though. Treloar (soreness), Moore (achilles), Fasolo (shoulder) and Howe (calf) are available for the Moe game this week.
But, Elliott (ankle), Aish (calf) and Wells (achilles) are only rated chances to play in a VFL praccie on March 16 v Coburg. Pies say they'll "make their way back into the full training program over the next fortnight". _________________ All We Can Be |

Wells, as good as he is, turning out to be a huge mistake. Undercooked for the season proper again. I backed thd call (risk vs reward) but appears his body is going to prevent his impsct at Pieland. Shame. _________________ Est. 2002 |

Nathan Buckley has confirmed Jamie Elliott and Daniel Wells won't play Round 1 against Hawthorn, following the Magpies' morale-boosting win over the Bulldogs at Moe. _________________ All We Can Be |

Buckley alluded to a game next week to tune up - intra-club game on Friday or Saturday maybe or just VFL practice match vs Coburg on Friday? Anyone heard anything? _________________ All We Can Be |

In an unfortunate exclusive, because he is such a ripping guy, tonight I understand Tyson Goldsack will MISS the season, rupturing his ACL yesterday @7NewsMelbourne @triplemfooty #collingwood #breaking
per Jon Ralph
Official word from Pies that Goldy will have more scans tomorrow to assess ACL damage. No obvious incident in the Dogs win. Be yet another forward out for Round 1 if ACL is ruptured, as feared _________________ All We Can Be |
