Post subject: Jason Wild sons not eligible for FS | |
|
Former Magpie Jason Wild has two sons Mitch and Cameron coming through the Northern Knights' program, with Mitch eligible to be picked this year.
Wild played 70 games for Collingwood so the pair do not meet eligibility as father-sons. _________________ Go Pies...Premiers 2010 |

Doesn't mean his two sons won't be stars of the competition. |

Both are apparently eligible at Carlton under their indigenous zone though. Still not as ridiculous as Blakey and Sydney.

"pleasure" and "watching Wild" should never be used in the same sentence ever again _________________ Magpie Jumper Gallery:

i find it extraordinary that people would write off two kids based on the fact that their father was only a modest AFL talent. He still played AFL (and is better than the many fathers who did not). These kids had a father who was a better footballer than Nathan Buckley's father!!!!! _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

i dont think the article is about Jason Wild. its about his kids.
also, his problem wasn't his height. he was 6 foot tall. you might be confusing him with Luke Godden. wild's problem was just that he wasn't an AFL calibre footballer who got games because Collingwood didn't have enough AFL calibre players. he was your modern day, Smith, Broomhead, Oxley, Kennedy type. Just not quite up to it but can contribute to a terrible team. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

^ E, Nicksters think 6ft = midget, so that is not evidence of misID.

if i asked who was a red headed 6 foot tall midfielder who was playing around the year 2000, one correct answer would be Jason Wild. The other would be Michael Voss!!!! _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |
