Agree. I don't want to see Hawks win because we allowed Bitchell to run around and get 50 kicks . A stronger midfield helps. I also don't want the Hawks to benefit from a policy they don't believe in either.

I gave up caring what the press and other supporters when I was about 14 and saw headlines "Pies star in court drama" Which turned out to be Rene Kink getting fined a 100 gollars in Heidelberg Magistrates court for throwing a chiko roll wrapper out of the window of his car at the shops on a sunday afternoon.

Birchall isn't playing in round 1 as he's recovering from a persistent knee injury.

The next hurdle on De Goey's path to redemption is probably his birthday on 15 March. The so called "kid" will be 22 years old.

Makes sense after re-reading your post. Sorry for the confusion.

Well, in terms of birthday parties, it's better than turning 21. Which friends would be deemed suitably respectable to attend a hypothetical 22nd birthday party? One of those journos seems to have engaged in a mild propaganda war with the club, implying his school friends are actually the good guys and the bad influences are his teammates.

Well, there are distinct issues here that shouldn't be conflated: the actions of JDG, the actions of the club, the actions of the media, how well JDG can play right now, ...
