I hope it's on Australia plus because it is a Buddha day in Thailand which normally means the bars are shut.

Its not. Barstewards. Oh well. Only a praccy but always nice to see the young bloods having a crack. Guess I will have to watch the Singapore LPGA. Some real hotties these days. It is silly. Restaurants can open but no grog. The 7-11 etc won;t sell but you walk past a Mom and Pop shop and they will sell you an ice cold beer for about 1.40 a can which helps me steer Tukky the wonder poodle.

This will be the first time the Pies have played in Canberra in about twenty years I think. I'm looking forward to going!

You might see Barnaby Joyce and his families.

I'd expect Stephenson, Murphy and Magden, who all played AFLX to get game time. Murray should play as well. Tyler Brown may be the one to sit this one out.

I sincerely hope we don't see Blair ,Smith or Broomhead in the group. Time to shine for the youngsters and the ones who these three having been stealing play time from.

I didn't see any of those 3 in the game that I recorded over the weekend. I was scanning through the Foxtel program, hit record when I saw that we were going to be playing, then settled in to watch it well after the event. The problem was that I had recorded the women's match so deleted it without watching it. At least my wife wasn't grumbly about me watching TV when there were so many other things that she believed I could be doing.

Twenty six players and four emergencies-no interchange cap

So a few can get a bit of time to shine
