Great to see that the Pies have reversed their stupid decision to not supply free caps to AFL members.

Good decision and great to know that they listened.

Also, love the fixture fridge magnet.

The missus has no excuse now not to consult the fixture when arranging other activities.

I wouldn't congratulate them for undoing something they should never have done it in the first place. It's called damage control.

Yes, its quite hard to read, both because of the contrast and the type size.

Probably not, but it is supposed to be a fridge magnet with the fixtures, so if it can't do what it's meant to do just get rid of it and save the money; or send a magnet with maybe a photo of the squad or something.

Agree, the font size is minute. Obviously agreed upon by a couple of millennials without any consideration of, or consultation with, anyone older than 25.

Good to see they've corrected an error.

But I've had every cap since they were giving them out (2001 I think). So that tradition has been permanently broken. I ended up buying a good quality one, and will wear that.

The club decided to stop recognising AFL club support members as real members in 2017. It wasn't just the cap but a number of incentives were dropped many that were linked to recognising continuation of membership.

Many of us need to flip our memberships between the various levels to suite our circumstances over our lifetime. To be de-recognised without any warning doesn't hurt its a disgrace.

A cap might be perceived as back peddling but it isn't any more than a cost benefit analysis of the marketing and merchandise guys.

They might consider next year chucking in a magnifying glass so we can read the fixture magnet thing ?

Why was the package marked as 'fragile?

Anyway, regardless of size, I like having a fixture magnet on the fridge again.

I too was confused by the "fragile " package.

I don't have a problem reading the fixture magnet, so unlike those who struggle reading it, I think it is very useful and practical.
