I thought this would a be a beat-up, but it seems it’s not. ...

What are "2:1s" and "2:2s"?

If they just made the test easier, or the normalization of scores more generous, wouldn't the result be the same --- and no one would complain?

Honours 2nd class division 1 and division 2. These rank below honours first class. All are respectable grades above pass, but the number of “firsts” given by UK units has controversially risen over the last 20 years. I can affirm from significant experience in graduate recruiting and mentoring that a graduate with a First 20 years ago seemed to have greater rigour (eg in written expression and sequential argument ) then than now, at least in humanities subjects. Maths seems pretty consistent across time.

We used to have the same system in Oz when I went to university 35 years ago but maybe the grading system has changed there now.

I tended to keep mine away from that until at least high school, once they learned to appreciate a good one and not kill it with cola.

Hehe. I’ve been using it as throat gargle last couple of days, and as a shooter for pain killers and anti inflams today, my foot went to sleep while I was working at my PC, I stood up and it rolled over, I actually heard the crack, and felt it, and I reckon I just laid there for a good 10 min, wasn’t game to stand. This getting old shit sucks! Seriously, not a great day, any day is a good day, but today, not a great one!

I blame David for this. A google search precipitated by one of his random facebook posts lead me to this.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=192&v=6k01DIVDJlY

A duck, with a 9 inch penis shaped like a corkscrew, that shrivels up and falls off after every mating season then grows back with size in proportion to how many rivals it has. The more other male rivals, the bigger the schlong.

They've also been witnessed having homosexual necrophiliac sex. £$%$ers are nearly as bad as sea otters, who'll shag something to death then keep the dead body floating with them for a week for an easy root whenever the mood strikes.

African hair is different and needs to be treated differently. I've read about white couples adopting an African baby having to get help to learn how to manage the hair.

If you have a shop and some particular products are getting stolen a lot, you make it harder to steal them. That's not racial profiling, it's common sense.

Poor little mite. A lot of people at fault here. Can't afford money for water is about 4 dollars a month but afford grog.
