Disagree.
The guy killed people. Accidentally yes, but he still killed people. Giving him your passport voluntarily, knowing that he intended to use it to leave the county to avoid prosecution could essentially make him an accessory after the fact, so it's hardly an incidental involvement.
30 months is lenient IMHO. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

The backpackers in Khao San rd were flogging their (actually Australian Government property) passports to criminals for 2000 bucks and then turning up to the embassy with a tale of woe and getting enough money for another few months. Last time I was in the Australian Embassy in Bangkok they had a notice. First loss 200 dollars 2nd loss 1000 dollars third loss 2500 dollars. I asked them what about 4th. Temporary passport home and have to reapply for new one with a very good reason to have it
If the Indian is charged with passport fraud in India and is never allowed to leave India again his family will be shamed and he his employment chances will suck. . _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |
