9/270. Should have made 325+ with that start. Cam finished with 15 from 21, which was a shame to see.

Can you explain to me why Cam was selected ahead of Maxwell?

Yes - but you’d have to go to the ODI thread in the sports forum to read that.

^^^ Perhaps because Hohns is slightly less offended by Cam than Smith is by Maxwell. Or Hohns is slightly less powerful than Smith. Or Hohns hates Maxwell, too.

In seriousness, these guys are beginning to make our club look the exemplar of professionalism...

But, yes, there are threads on these matters in the Sports Bar.

I came in here to gloat about going 37 hours without having a cigarette. But reading this thread now think I'd prefer to be pregnant.

You win, Wokko! Great news. x

Nice pics.

Went for a crawl under the house this morning to check out the floor under the bathroom. I want to renovate it, but first wanted to see if I was going to have to rip up the floor in the process.

Good news, I don't. No rot in any of the structural timber, couple of small ones that I could replace but not essential, floor boards beside shower and bath need replacing but rest of it is fine.

Interesting both the shower base and bath have no floor under them, they're sitting right on the beams.

So the plan will be to rip up the lino and strip the room, without taking anything apart. Keep the existing bath and shower, but paint the bath. Lay some marine ply over the floor (after I replace those couple of boards) and tile it, re-line the shower with some acrylic panels and do the walls with wet area panelling. All up probably $3k in materials including getting a custom made shower door.

Gotta finish the kitchen floor up in Toc first, but that should keep me busy for a couple of weeks. Send the old girl up to Toc while I do it and use the shower at the daughters house when needed.

Sounds like a plan. Smile

Sold the Gillian’s island ship wreck today in 1 hour! Only made a few bucks on it but since I doubled my money on the other I’m still smiling! We also sold the 2002 Monaro for a tidy profit, not sad to see it go TBH the thing scared the crap out of me, it went like the powers of pee on steroids! Wasn’t really the one he wanted. Time for some toy shopping I guess! Cheers!

Come for a drive up bush in the Redline with me one time.

I went for a back country cruise a week or so ago, figured the road was nice and straight with good visibility, I'd see what she could do. So, idling along at 140, just put a little bit of toe down, she growled, and in a couple of seconds was doing 170. Still had plenty left but I decided not to see how much. Wink

The Monaro hit that in 2nd gear and then I threatened to jump out! Nope. I only like going fast if I’m in charge, or I’m on a race track with a certified driver and all the safety gear! (I’m sure you posted 200!)

And swoop do you know from experience if it’s any good! Always thought you were a bit of a c
