Wouldnt think thats the official TAC U18 all Australian team.
Wrong time of year.
Might be likely next generation academy AA U 18 prospects. He is zoned to Collingwood as part of next generation academy group coming through.
Defender with some dash. Good prospect and plays with Oakleigh Chargers. We will be all over him and Hine has said as much as long as he keeps his development heading in right direction. Some rate him as high as a pick in the twenties in a good draft which is problematic because we currently dont have anything near that ( not factoring in academy discount ) They will probably want to find room for Craig Kellys second son who is flying in the TAC this season. Hes a unit and plays both ends and is Quaynors team mate, which always helps with settling in if they both make it to Collingwood.
Dave T M is usually all over this and might know more and have some links but I would think Pies plan would be to keep their first round pick intact and then find a way to secure Quaynor and Kelly at the discounted points price.
If we do this right, it could yet be the draft that really sets us up for a tilt.

Issac just made the AA team across half back.
Great effort given he missed a game through injury.
I think there will be a bid for him in the first round so we will need points.
Will Kelly didn't make it as expected, I think a bid might come for him late second round and I think he has done enough that we should pick him up. _________________ "Even when Im old and gray, I wont be able to play but Ill still love the game"

I watched Vic Merto and SA yesterday and Quaynor was decent in a side well beaten
He has some speed which is a good thing and his disposal is better than average seems to see things in advance of him well
Kelly was always touted as a second rounder which suit us fine considering we don't have a second round pick this season unless we trade some player/s
With our discount a 3rd round pick and down grade on our next pick would secure him easily IMO |

Quaynor has had an exceptional year in the TAC. He plays a bit like Ed Richards and I think he is a little further advanced than Ed was 12 months ago. A bid will likely come in late first round. I thought he was disappointing against SA, mainly because he had set his standards so high this year.
I thought Kelly was pretty good against Lukosuis in the unofficial grand final yesterday. As per the above, he is a likely to have his name called late in the second round.
If you have nothing to do, check out SAs Izak Rankines highlights from the game. Hes probably the most electric U18 I have seen since Judd. |
