The Ghan. Just saved myself the cost of an expensive train ticket through (and to) nowhere.

If it helps, in the book their ages are 17 and 24

That definitely changes my perspective. Odd they chose a 31 year old actor to play Oliver.

Watched The Shape Of Water last night. Strange movie that I expected to forward though most of but actually found myself invested all the way through. Wasn't bad. 7/10

Also watched The Disaster Artist. This one was brilliant! That Tommy Wiseau sure is a weird unit and James Franco nailed it. 9/10

Was Star Wars always this dumb? I know one can’t go into it expecting it to be intellectually engaging, and one has to suspend disbelief a bit, but it really strained plausibility at times. Adam Driver’s character was at least interesting. But I was mostly pretty bored, to be honest.

If you like that kind of thing watch bridge of spies, with Tom Hanks.

This one sounds like hubbies thing, ta, I’m angling for extra holiday stuff, always good to have some nice bait! Cheers!

Luke grows a beard? No more spoilers, please! A friend once tried to tell me some alleged plot twist involving Luke & Darth Vader, but I covered my ears and told her to shut up.

Thor: Ragnarok, what can I say? Plenty of one liners and action. 5/10

Have you seen the others or just the latest one? Because it's the worst one by a long shot.

Great movie and one of the best I have seen in a long time. Not what I expected.

Was hoping for the movie to go on for another 15 minutes, so we could get some closure; as it was left somewhat open ended.

I could really relate to the frustration of the victims's mother, with the perceived lack of progress by local police in the solving of her daughters murder.
Many poignant scenes involving lack of communication between all parties, jumping to conclusions, and second-guessing each other, none of which end well for the characters.

Woody and Rockwell were simply magnificent as the police officers, and are BOTH AA nominated for best supporting actor; when was the last time that happened?!

Frances surely will win AA best actress? I might riot if she doesn't....

I’ve seen all of them except for The Force Awakens. The prequels were pretty average. I never loved the original trilogy, but I always kind of thought they were at least fun (especially the first two). Wondering though if they’d leave me as cold as The Last Jedi if I watched them again now – I can’t say that I necessarily thought the new one was actually any worse than, say, A New Hope – that is, I can’t recall anything specifically good about the film that the new one failed at.
