Made some pastrami in the smoker, plus cooked some beef and pork ribs, snags and chicken wings.

Got a lettuce salad and a honey mustard pasta salad, tucker for the next few days.

Doing lamb cutlets, Greek style tonight.

tomorrow's lunch will be Pastrami on Rye, with english mustard and swiss cheese. Loving this warmer weather, cold leftovers for work.

Had a cold sausage with some garden salad in a tortilla for breaky and a bowl of pasta salad with some beef short ribs for lunch.

Just sat through a 4 hour, 12 course lunch. I may never eat again.

The wife is away for a couple of days so I'm cooking Chilli con carne. She hates it but I love it.
The recipe suggests serving with rice but stuff that I'd rather use all my stomach space for the chilli.

The rice soaks up the stuff in the chilli. It is the same with real Thai food (not the chinese crap at most Thai restaurants in Oz) Indian is the same. failure to eat the rice may result in internal issues that most would rather not have. If not rice tortillas or bread provide similar circuit breakers.

^ have you been going to that nutritionist again ?

I reckon the only things that should be allowed on a pizza base are tomato, good mozzarella, fresh basil and (in a crisis) mushroom, anchovies and pepperoni. These can be combined, to various extents. Meat feast is an abomination.

A good pizza with really well-made dough, plus a glass of red and a crisp salad, beats any restaurant food most days of the week.

Sangria varies from good to unholy, but i’ve never really got the underlying concept of sweetened wine, unless it’s bittersweet, like vermouth.

This week I made my favorite beef casserole, with ox cheek, brisket and a short rib, cooked for about 3.5-4 hours, These three fairly cheap cuts of meat make an incredibly rich, melting casserole, which always reminds me of coming home from Victoria Park on wet winter days, to find that the slow cooker had done its work. It’s the smell of victory. Save it for six months time. https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/1940689/beef-and-vegetable-casserole-

Chicken and sweet potato curry in the slow cooker

Kids came over and left early, daughter is going up to the holiday house in Toc tonight, with the son's ex and the grandson Sharknado.

If you're religious, pray for my house and my daughter
