Cheers - I thought for a second there "the Glove" had come back as a coach. I didn't think to check the Rookie List.

Thank to all Nicksters for the kind feedback.

I hope to get down again soon to training and give further updates.

Again, my thanks

Love your training reports Lad Very Happy

A few questions:
- How much weight does Kayle Kirby need to lose to reach ideal fitness? Did he look physically the same as this year or had he gained weight?
- Your thoughts on Chris Mayne's efforts who has been much-malinged since his arrival at the club?
- Any players that exceeded your expectations on the training track?

Thank you Mr Jezza.

Kirby appears around the same weight ( perhaps a little bigger around the shoulders). It's not so much that he needs to lose a heap of weight, rather, work on his 'tank' for repeat efforts. In this respect, losing say, five kilograms, could only help this lad.

Mayne was fabulous on the track. He appeared to move very freely and was very supportive of the younger players verbally.

It wasn't so much that players exceeded expectations, rather, there were players who were used in different scenarios that stood out: Smith as an on-baller, Varcoe forward, and so on. I was delighted to see the concerted efforts of Max Lynch on his running to build up his tank. It was very warm, but Lynch worked his butt off. Ditto with Sier; this guy was bottom age when drafter and has had two years on our list- I believe that this will be a breakout year for him. Wills also exceeded expectations- a tad trimmer and very heavily involved in the 'inside-mid' grunt work.

I hope that satisfies your queries, Mr Jezza.
