Today's herald sun says he didn't turn up at the B and F ( it's in the Stringer article ) |
Thanks, P16. That's telling.
If he turns up at the Bombers' B & F tonight, that'll be even more telling |

hmm look I think at the right club he will bee a very good player. Correct in that a side already a Premership threat Essendon or Geelong will only make that better....I also think it takes the right club/coach to get him back on track.
Mick still in charge i would say Pies would be mad not to throw the kitchen sink at getting him. Buckley does not have that style, he wants honest hard workers.
Given the amount of smoke drifting around Stringer ...I would say it is best the club does not get him. If the Dogs are unloading him something must have seriously gone a miss. Rumors that he was a bad influence on other players etc. Given the unsteady nature at Collingwood....we have to focus on fixing our club before we start bringing on project players. _________________ "To know nothing of events before your birth, is to forever remain a child" - Cicero (Roman Lawyer/Senator) 46 BCE. |

From all accounts, what Jake has done in his relationship with his teenage sweetheart would lead me to agree that he is a "shit bloke."
I know that he is not though, as one of his former teachers.
Despite a history of learning difficulties with literacy and numeracy he was a cooperative and well liked student. When he rocked up to orientation day as a Year 6 student Jake volunteered to help clean up afterwards, spending hours helping. This reveals his good heart. I'm sure he still has it.
I hope he continues to grow as a person and learns from his mistakes. Everyone deserves a chance of redemption. I'd love to see him running around in black and white next year. _________________ woodsmen rule |

Here's the thing... he wants to go to Essendon (Or possibly Geelong).
If we really want him, we give up pick 6. That isn't happening. But it'd get him over. _________________ A Goal Saved Is 2 Goals Earned! |

I'd get him over too, however, the club knows more than I do and they've shown zero interest.
With a player manager in board and more importantly, Stringer's former captain employed by our club, it speaks volumes that they've shown no interest. _________________ Go Pies!! |

Not for pick 6 no way, too risky. Dirt cheap or nothing.
Maybe he was a good kid, but rooting 17 year olds while your wife is pregnant? And Jesus, what kind of skanky parents does the 17 year old have?
Good on you Abby, keep your self respect, and those two beautiful children. _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Totally agree with you. Why would any club want him? At least Essendon screws up a high draft pick to get him. |
