Sad day for comedy, acting & muscular dystrophy

Met with controversy as part of his fund raising but did raise billions and awareness for Muscular Dystrophy & assisted the plight of many people with disabilities.

He was a guest of the Melbourne International Film Festival I think not too long ago when they were highlighting his fillums

Interesting case

I was never a huge fan, liked some of his work, but no doubt he was a genius at his genre and inspired plenty of imitators.

Watching a short montage of some of his early work, first thing that struck me was that Jim Carey had ripped him off big time.

Great innings and raised a shitpile for medical research, so well done JL. Don't trip over that cloud up there.

In fairness to Carey physical comedy existed long before the age of cinema and Lewis.

Still I can see the similarity and understand the comparison.
