I'm never sure whether the moving pictures are better than the tale of circumstances surrounding their discovery, but in this case I am less certain than ever. Much appreciated, as I was present at the crime scene and the foremsics tend to escape you in the, er, excitement (if that is the word) of the moment. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Sounds like fun; can you get me a quote for said "entertainers" please? _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

So, back to business as usual then, eh?
I must admit, underwhelmed as I have been with the Gothstra/Panessa Studios productions of the last month or so, they made for a decent change from the normal offerings. Ordinary-to-decent with a happy-ish ending made for a nice break from ordinary-to-bad with a sad ending.
But, as sand falls through the hour glass, here we are yet again, in spite of all the warm and fuzzy hype. I'm sure the usual review writers will find their bits and pieces to massage their keyboards over (and to massage over their keyboards), but I've long since seen enough.
Nevertheless, I leave it here in the machine for you. Try not to leave any Jaffas behind when you go, yeah? When those things melt or get squashed, they become an absolute bloody nightmare to get out of the couches and the rugs and carpet...

Silly me.
I came into this latest production from Gothstra and Panessa Studios expecting a more positive result than recent times. Still damn ordinary, another false dawn. But a positive result nevertheless.
What I ended up getting, though, was more akin to a space shuttle taking off from the launchpad, then progressively running out of juice as it headed upward, before the inevitable crashing back to Earth. And I thought we were done with this stuff. Mind you, there was this young fella called Joshua who had a decent cameo as the kid with his fingers in the dam wall, trying to forestall inevitable...
As always, I'll leave the Blu-Ray in the machine for the eager among you. Be sure to pick up your empty popcorn and Coke containers on the way out, yeah? The butler's back ain't what it used to be. Comes to us all, I suppose...

Thanks for that MB. Couldn't you just repeat the first quarter four times? _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

I tried.
Like insanity, though, I kept expecting a different result but didn't get it... _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |
