We could have easily won that.

Oh well. Next week.

No goals from Cox, Moore or Blair. That'll kill off just about any chance of winning any game

Varcoe' last attempt just sums up the Buckley era

Nothing ever changes

Ever...

Same old...

Dogs were bold in changing their coach from McCartney to Beveridge

Meanwhile we...

Ah, my heart isn't in it after 5 years of this

Decent effort.

Just lacked the necessary class to beat them. Fairly upbeat despite the loss.

Grunt effort was there, but.....
Skill errors at crucial times missed kicks still cost us
If we took those chances we win by that margin

Smile Isn't Pendles just class, never ceases to amaze me! Those two goals he kicked in the last!! The Dogs are a side you feel we can match up on and somehow, recently they just get the 4 points!

We did well in the end, but we chased blue white and red carrying leather most of night.

We can't expect to win games playing a quarter or so of good football, same as last couple of years.

We better beat Richmond or there will be hell to pay.

It was a typical Collingwood effort under Buckley, plucky, battling away, but no class at both ends of the ground.

You can have the best 10 players on the ground, but if two or three are contributing nothing you generally don't win the game of footy and that summarises our night. As Pendles said it was a lot better than round one last year.

Exactly, we are missing a few and we could have won tonight, a few passengers that can easily be rectified. It's better than this time last year.

100% this

Just like Hawthorn, Fremantle and Sydney in 2015
Or the Dogs or Hawks last year

Now this

It's the same, it's always the Milneing same...

Same old same old. Appalling skills at times, poor finishing, lack of composure at key moments, and an "honourable loss" that's defensible. All hallmarks of the Buckley era, one that will go down in history as one of the biggest wastes of time ever.
