Not a shock, Leicester are struggling big time.... still, he, the team and fans have the memory of a glorious season...

Surprised by the timing of his sacking after pulling off a decent result in the first leg Champions League tie against Sevilla the other night.

Results haven't been good for Leicester City recently, but it's crazy how much football can change in the space of the year.

I think the owners of all clubs are too ruthless and impatient when teams go through a slump. Same thing happened to Mourinho last season at Chelsea, but thankfully we have Conte now who's doing a wonderful job for the club.

Sad day for Leicester City considering he did the impossible for the club. He deserves far more respect and gratitude for what he achieved with them.

It's funny that Arsene Wenger is still at Arsenal even though they haven't won the title in 13 years, yet managers like Ranieri, Mourinho, Pellegrini, Mancini and Ancelotti were all sacked within a year after winning the title with their respective clubs.

Ranieri made the mistake of achieving the impossible and thereby enabling his mediocre club to imagine a future in which it didn't bobble up and down between divisions forever.

Oddly enough, you're spot on about Ranieri's achievement inflating unrealistic expectations at the club.

Leicester maintain a 100% winning record after Ranieri's sacking.

Clearly a player mutiny of some sort took place.
