Downloaded it and as Telstra mobile customer have a FREE pass that runs till 31/1/2018
Previous years it was not free so the slightly cramped picture worries me little
Any concern's for other fans ?????? _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

Sounds ridiculous if you can only watch a 7 inch version on a tablet. I normally buy the AFL Live subscription and use Apple TV to stream it from my iPad. Im assuming the picture quality is going to be worse. As a WA pies fan this has got me by for years.
I think this year Im going to sign up for Foxtel Play. $10+$29 for Sports Package. ~$273 then cancel Nov-March. Can stream with Samsung smart TVs.
Not sure if Foxtel Play gives you extra device access (iPad / iPhone). _________________ ------------

My options are extremely limited both by equipment required and financial restraints
Have cheap television so sending from tablet to my TV a cant do
So its go to game -go to pub and watch there or buy Foxtel
So its FREE squashed pic unfortunately _________________ I'm not arguing--just explaining why i am right |

It was free last year too, Barry.
Could watch on full iPad screen view last year but apparently this year it's only phone size on an iPad. Ridiculous.
I've been considering Foxtel Play to stream sport. If you have a Telstra broadband account you can apparently get a Telstra TV for $109 which enables you to get Foxtel Play through it, with apparently has many of the channels in HD. Sport not in HD yet I believe, but here's hoping. _________________ "The night is a very dark time for me" Chaz Michael Michaels |

Pretty sure a Foxtel Play account gives you access on phone, iPad and computer. _________________ "The night is a very dark time for me" Chaz Michael Michaels |

watchafl.com.au has improved video quality this year. You also get the fox footy channel 24/7 plus all the game day on demand videos.
$189 for the whole season at HD 720p quality.
The catch is you need to pay for a VPN service and appear to be overseas as well which is about $5 a month. Does not work with an aussie IP.
You are allowed up to 5* devices so if you split the cost with a few mates its quite cheap.
This is the first time I have paid for it. Previous years the service and quality were not good enough. |
