Seriously though, an Aussie flag on the logo? Horrible.

I counted 28 on the nature strip the other day.
When I was kid we always had a magpie as a pet.

Agree with you about stripes area needs something in there or the black stripes need be black not faded |
I'm seeing stripes, but I'm seeing white goal posts too. For celebrating a significant anniversary I like the variation.

True story, up in the Otway ranges many yrs ago, I'm sitting on the front porch on the couch, holiday home, intenty reading a new book id got. Suddenly I looked up, and honestly, their all along the balcony, all looking at me, was perched at least 30 Magpies, all in a row, and bout another ten at my feet. I froze, thought of the Hitchcock movie the Birds ! So, I very quietly closed my book, got up and gently came inside, moving very slowly. I got in OK, perspiring. They then took off as one, all of em, and headed towards the mountains, I will never forget that.

Perhaps the design experts will simplify the design and a yin-yang will be our new magpie symbol

Our current logo (allowing for the flag change) is from 1992.
