It's changed PLENTY OF TIMES.

This incarnation was mid '90s.

Seriously though, an Aussie flag on the logo? Horrible.

I used to love the ole logo, the one with the magpie perched on a fence post, reminds me of my two magpies I feed daily up here at Mt evelyn, they perch on our front fence, and I handfeed them, very tame, great part of bird life up here.

Guy up the road feeds the magpies.
I counted 28 on the nature strip the other day.
When I was kid we always had a magpie as a pet.
Great animal.

Our two magpie emblem celebrating 125 years is fantastic...If it did happen and i certainly would have no trouble with it would be thrilled with a permanent emblem featuring two magpies:)

Thoughts ?

One question... Are we the Collingwood Magpies or Collingwood Magpie?

Two is better... my 2 cents

wow I love our current logo and think its streets ahead of most of the other teams.

whilst I like the new 125 one it does seem to be missing something on the black and white stripes part. seems a bit bare there. prefer the current one.

Agree with you about stripes area needs something in there or the black stripes need be black not faded

I'm seeing stripes, but I'm seeing white goal posts too. For celebrating a significant anniversary I like the variation.

I read somewhere that having one magpie is bad luck and that having two or more is actually better. I think we should stick with two and tweak the logo a little.

Yes - we are the Magpie(s) after all Smile

Give two a go - side by side!

True story, up in the Otway ranges many yrs ago, I'm sitting on the front porch on the couch, holiday home, intenty reading a new book id got. Suddenly I looked up, and honestly, their all along the balcony, all looking at me, was perched at least 30 Magpies, all in a row, and bout another ten at my feet. I froze, thought of the Hitchcock movie the Birds ! So, I very quietly closed my book, got up and gently came inside, moving very slowly. I got in OK, perspiring. They then took off as one, all of em, and headed towards the mountains, I will never forget that. Surprised

Perhaps the design experts will simplify the design and a yin-yang will be our new magpie symbol Smile

Our current logo (allowing for the flag change) is from 1992.
