Many great films. I remember sitting down with the old betamax with my late mother and we watch "Stir Crazy". She laughed so hard she wet herself.

Blazing Saddles another classic. I hope Foxtel runs a Gene Wilderathon. I will record the lot. Smile

RIP

Willy Wonka is a childhood fave. They just don't make 'em like that, or Gene, anymore.

RIP

Some gold from the great man, courtesy of our friends at IMDB:

Capt. Braddock: Okay no more bullshit
Capt. Braddock: [to Dave, talking fast] was there or wasn't there a woman?
Dave: Are you serious?
Capt. Braddock: Yes I'm goddamn serious.
Dave: Fuzzy Wuzzy was a woman?
Capt. Braddock: What the hell is he taking about?
Wally: He reads lips. You're talking too fast.

Sad news. Remember him for the role of Willy Wonka.

RIP.

Enjoyed his work with Richard Pryor, but Willy Wonka is always going to be my favourite. Very sad to lose another great this year, it has been a brutal year.

RIP.
