I have family travelling to Brisbane this week and they've asked me to call upon the Nick's family to recommend a venue where they can watch the game with fellow fanatics. Any suggestions gratefully received.

the pineapple hotel is often mentioned as a pregame meeting place. presumably this is good for a game.

Unfortunately, if the result goes according to form, and given that the weather should be good, places to watch the game could include Mooloolaba Beach, Royal Qld Golf Course, Lamington National Park, Australia Zoo...
You will need Fox though, as the game is not on free to air.

Wasn't the 3:20pm Sunday arvo time slot created as a lead in to channel 7's news????

The Pineapple hotel is the go Neil. Fantastic place to be when the Pies are in town as well. Walking distance to the Gabba.
