Inspired (sort of) by David's outrageous bias and discrimination against pineapple on a Pizza.

I'll start with what I don't like. I'm not a fan of new york style pizza or soggy crust.

For mine the crust should be firm enough to hold a slice of Pizza in one hand with little or no sag. So for me it's the thin (ish) base, a little crunch is nice but I can don't need the crunch as long as it holds it's shape when you pick it up.

I also don't particularly like all of these weird combos like putting indian food or chinese food on a Pizza. Yeah I like fusion when making food but some of the combos you see say to me, the cook is a practical joker or had a bad acid trip and decided to just put the most unlikely shit you'd ever see on a pizza on the menu and see how many people were dumb or pretentious enough to buy it.

So, anyway, my perfect pizza.

Base as above.

Tomato sauce on the base and cheese.

Hot salami
Bacon
Onion
Capsicum
Jalapenos
pineapple
Chilli flakes
Garlic

I reckon the Pineapple adds the moisture and goes beautifully with the dryness of the salami and the heat from the chilli.

Depending which store I buy from, I'll sometimes add meatballs and/or olives.

What's your fav or perfect Pizza?

It kind of varies, but the best one I've had was a Mexican pizza from Nick - Pie Man's old shop. If I recall correctly, it had a thick crust, tomato base, kidney beans, guacamole, sour cream (which I usually left off) and corn chips. Otherwise, $5 vegetarian from Dominoes any time!

I like a Dominos pepperoni with the cheesey crust or if I'm at a fancy pizza place it's usually a bocconcini, prosciutto and rocket one.
