Not complaining about the win but the poor kicking at goal and in general around the ground is a concern, and has been all year. This is something which has hurt us, and must be worked on over the summer. Nice to see the team bounce back after a few heavy defeats but there's so much of our game that needs to be cleaned up if we're to get anywhere close to playing finals next year.

I thought the ground-kicking was pretty okay tonight. Far fewer turn overs.

My impression was that it deteriorated in the second half like everything else. Honestly, I think the mental energy just subsided once we got so far in front. It happens, but it is a sign that we still have far to develop.

Yep Mugwump, not saying that we still don't have a long way to go and many improvements to make, but it seems that folks may be losing sight of the fact that we were 60 plus points up by half-time. All that takes a fair amount of energy to make happen!

Yep, PP, and even more energy to sustain when not much is riding on it. Still, more seasoned teams would have competed the rout.

The last 40 minutes of that game was hugely disappointing. So many butchered goals.I think we kicked 12 points in a row and at least three out on the full.Yes,i know the game was over by then, but still it's just not good enough. Our forward line needs a major overhaul.

How many of those missed goals were from midfielders? Do we need to overhaul the midfield as well?

It would be nice if our line needs a major overhaul.

Solid big win, a nice thrashing, and at least the doomsayers can STFU for at least one week.

Well really he should be sacked within a week of the next game vs the Dorks but of course it won't happen, he'll get another year to bask in the sun with the proviso of if he makes the finals of getting another 2-3 after that.

It's beyond a joke.

First half we played very well looked sharp and generally our running and carry was first class
Second half was the signs of a young side who don't know who to truly bury a team
10 straight behinds was just a case of some poor kicking and some guys going away from what made us successful in the first half and taking 50/50 shots instead of looking for the best option
Moore and DeGoey on ice now and put some work into there bodies in th off season
Really impressed by Treloar tonight made a statement in his 100th game class from head to toe that boy
Smith just seems to be a very relaxed dude gets it uses it moves on to next contest.
Wills is a welcome surprise late in the season and shows good signs the preseason will do him wonders in regards to getting run into his legs
If we play run and carry fast football next week it will shake the Hawks up there looking slow and tired and aren't setting the world on fire.
Take this scalp we go 6-4 after the bye in the hard part of our draw gives us something to hang our hat on going into next season (doesn't excuse pre bye performances)
Plenty of young players will be better for the run in 2017

Ha, that would be nice,

But I'm kinda thinking the score half time next week will be us as the Suns last night, and the Hawks won't shut down after half time.

In a small way Its good Darcy got the tweak, he won't get smashed by the bully boy big bodied dawk defenders next week. The bastards will be out for some easy prey after this weeks loss, and we have far too much in the way of young cannon fodder for my liking.

I was extremely worried as we were odds on favorites and at shitihad stadium, so pumping them in the first half was great. After Moore went down we just went through the motions.
