Hard to judge this game.

GC are crap so we should win, and well... but it's at Etihad.

We seem to have a better side this time round but have done worse this year, lets think back to that desperate game against them last time.

I posted a response earlier, but it seems to have vanished. Anyway, here goes:

Assuming Adams is not injured, I expect us to go into this game with an unchanged side, for the first time (that I can remember) this season. Pies by 42 points.

We said that before the Richmond game too.

So no doubt Eade will say something to put the shits through them, after today's loss to the Dopers.

But if we can't defeat a GCS team minus O'Meara, Swallow, Prestia, Rischa and Y'ablett, then we will go into meltdown. Again.

Anything less than a 10 goal thrashing is a failure, really if they had any heart or desire to finish the year on a high it should be a 100 point win. Gold Coast is as shit as they come and they just lost to a VFL side, no excuses. Only a really shit coach could **** this up

Also be interesting to see if we crack 20,000 for the game, the AFL members is incredibly empty only a week out and bugger all tickets have been sold, probably going to have the majority of level 1 available for walkup which will mean its empty. Even Friday night people bought the tickets but didn't bother showing up

Another club on the rebound and realistically there shite. And because there shite we'll be applying a zone, guarding precious space we don't won't them receiving into just to prove our coach can claim victory for a game plan that resembles netball.
The negatives outweigh the positives this season unfortunately and I'm not expecting a win. And I hate it.

Assuming we don't lose anyone through injury I doubt there'll be too many changes. Bucks has already said Reid is going into cotton wool. Sinclair (may or may not play again this year), Witts, Cloke, Frost and Williams the only likely inclusions, Oxley, Phillips and Marsh potential exclusions.

Day, Lynch and Wright provide a challenge for our defense which might mean Frost gets a run at the expense of the smaller Marsh.

Interesting to see if Nicholls gets up, Like to see he and Grundy go head to head.

For mine:

OUT: Oxley (unlucky, 2 goals in 75% game time wasn't a bad return)
IN: Cloke

MY earlier post vanished like a fart in the wind, but at the risk of repeating myself, it time for us to smash a team, and that team is the Gold coast Beachboys. No more excuses, no iffs, butts maybes, no more honourable losses, we must win this game and win it very well. Take no prisoners, this mob are very thrashable, and we can and must do it, make up for our last two losses. Its time to win a game really well, be in a filthy mood, and wreak our vengence on this rabble, and on old Eade.

Woods by at least 48 points, going away. Its time. !
