Yep, sadly this. Will be missed, been among our most consistent defenders this season. We'll need Williams to re-find some of his early career form.

What Balme said about Sinclair's latest setback yesterday.

Surely give him the rest of the season off. What's the point of playing him?

Buck's stated last night that a decision hasn't yet been made by Sinkers about his future in the game. This was his fourth episode of concussion this season and he has to consider his long term concerns if he continues to play.

Bucks said on 360 last night sinkers wouldn't play this week under any circumstances as a precautionary measure.
When asked about whether he would play again this year he paused for a few seconds and responded that no decision had been made but the club and the player would ensure his best interests are taken care of. He made mention of Clark from Brisbane but said sinkers had never had a severe head clash like that but seemed prone to concussion symptoms
Reading between the lines I would say they won't play him again this year but would be seeking expert medical advice about his long term future

Been waiting all year to bump this thread for 2017, but alas Sinkers has today announced his retirement from AFL footy.

Well done, Ben.

Sinclair is playing really well and should only get better. Remember, this is a kid who has never really had a prolonged period of injury free football. He's got all the assets to be a great rebounding defender. All he needs is more game time and his confidence and decision-making will improve. He, Ramsay and Oxley all played well last night.

Rudeboy, you picked the trifecta, by the looks of it. Crying or Very sad

I find it sad for Sinkers to go out this way. When fit and firing he made a difference to out team because his raw pace broke lines.

All the best for your future Ben Sinclair.

+1 Sinkers was playing some great footy in 2016 before he strated having those concussion problems, I was actually surprised at how good overhead mark he had become, and now its all history. Good luck Ben!
