I don't particularly dislike it, I'm just not sure how the rendition of the magpie is supposed to be representative of Aboriginal art. Doesn't look like any Aboriginal art I've ever seen, regardless of who designed it.

And don't get me started on the different rounds.

So what do you think of the different rounds then? Say for instance the Tom Wills round?

Great idea, to honour the inventor of our great game, tommy wills, all players to wear long shorts, lace up jumpers, and caps, one umpire, drop kicks and place kicks allowed, umps to wear all white, fans to dress up like its the late 1800s, horse and buggy rides around the G. Very Happy Very Happy

How would caps go with manbuns?

Did I make the connection between indigenous jumpers and Adam Goodes? What's that got to do with the price of fish?

Nathan Patterson is the artist Stui. Has some nice stuff, more 'modern' style for want of a better word.

Looks like he could be a Pies fan, a lot of magpies in his work.

Yeah, not disparaging it, just don't quite see it, but hey, that's just me. Wink

You're not wrong Skids. Has some very nice art, especially of Magpies as you've mentioned. I checked out his work on his Facebook page.

I dislike it. I'd have preferred simple black and white patterns on the jumper.

I think R11 is the 'Colour Red Round' isn't it. Has anybody seen the jumper yet?

It's indigenous round not aboriginal art round.

Magpies are indigenous, the dots are a homage to Aboriginal art style.

Regardless this years version looks a mile better then any of other attempts.
