Don't start the fights around here again
The rest of your post is great though. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

There's 10 wins, and I actually think we'll beat the Hawks in round 23. |
if we maintain the form shown on saturday then i think you're not far off the mark. |
so we have one good win against quality opposition and we go from being a 3-5 team to a 10-3 team.
I love your optimism, but it is pretty clear that we played that game like it was our grand final and the cats treated it as just another game. Hard to read too much into it (other than the fact that our best is pretty good). The consistency required of a team to go 10-3 against quality opponents might be hard for our young team to maintain.
We will see.
Things are certainly looking better than they were 2 weeks ago. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

The cats can play better, but i think we have more improvement in our side than they do. Cox, DeGoey, Crocker, Varcoe (who was well off on Saturday) and Moore all have enormous growth potential vs what they were able to bring on Saturday. And the cats were at nearly full strength, whereas Sinclair, williams and probably Goldsack all have the potential to improve us. And I believe a bloke who wears number 32 will be back and hungry one day soon. We may struggle, or we may be starting something. Time will tell, as it always does. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

No shame in being optimistic, but ... yeah, no. Today was a pretty accurate reflection of our season to date. I don't think we'll finish bottom 4, but I don't think we'll finish too far out of it.
Weirdly, the Cats have really turned things around since their losses to us and Carlton and are now knocking off top teams again. Hard to get a read on exactly how things went so right for us in that match. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

^ Agree, David, this season is a complete mystery - nothing makes much sense. I cannot remember a season so unpredictable. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

1 player does not a team make.
With Taylor our defence certainly looks better, but who was there to kick goals yesterday? _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |
