Yes! I hate people who are on time for appointments. |

since when did "he's" get subbed out for "his"? i understand how english has evolved over the years but this is hugely regressive. i even see teacher friends make this mistake. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

For real? I've seen it from time to time on here, but I'd die of shock if I saw a teacher make that mistake. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

I'm pretty cool with most mistakes, I guess that comes from growing up with a dad screaming at us if we used Aussie slang! (I remember him yelling at my sister during the national anthem after the fireworks at Melbourne show; 'stand still you ignorant bitch, your not a bloody Aussie yet!'.) But there is a couple of really easy ones that drive me mad, I see them every day on Facebook, don't people read what they wrote?
Done for did, and seen for saw. ahhhhh
I do get laughed at occasionally for my pronunciation of words, not sure if it's the Pom in me or because I'm so dead! (I'm not always wrong either, sometimes it's the tomato, to-mato thing!) _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |
