Indeed, a bit amusing that several posters have proposed dropping him for the next round. Still, what would those blokes Hardwick and Buckley know about football anyway ?
|
not much if you believe what you read on the footy forums. |
Actually I agree with Lloyd who criticised Crotchin for having 38 possessions and doing nothing with them. Yet the two senior coaches gave Crotchin points. So knowledge of football is largely subjective. There is no definitive point of view. |

^^^ I actually felt like that about Treloar's game, which is why I didn't give him votes. |

agree re the subjective nature of analysis and opinion. with understanding what was asked of cotchin it is difficult to assess him and his impact. he may have done what hardwick wanted of him and he may have been a thorn in our side in the eyes of our coach.
without wanting to question the integrity of the coaches, i also wonder how much thought is given when awarding the votes. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Toby Greene had a monster game for the Giants. 30 disposals and 4 goals 3. Nick Riewoldt will vote (25 and 4 goals) as will Heater (126 AF points)
Paul Puopolo will get the 10 for Hawthorn.
Leader, Luke Parker looks likely to add to his 29 votes.
Rosa, Dal Santo, Goldstein and Hall will be in the votes.
Stevens, Boyd and Wallis starred for the Bulldogs.

It's not often we see 6 players top 120 AF points but it happened today, in the Swans 3 point win over Brisbane.
AF points: Zorko 148, Hanley 142, Parker141, Hannebery 136. Rockliff 132, Tippett 121.
Parker had a big game, again. 29 disposals, 9 tackles and 3 goals.
Hunter had 44 disposals in the Bulldogs loss.
Hogan's 7 goals will draw votes in the Dees/Saints game but Acres (28 disposals, 5 tackles and 2 goals) could take the 10. Riewoldt also up there.
Sloan (31, 8 and 1 goal) will vote for Adelaide.
Heater could draw full votes in the Giants walloping of Hawthorn.
Houli and Grigg both had big games but in Richmond's loss. Very even spread for Port.
Hawkins, Dangerfield and Selwood will share the votes in the Suns' drubbing. _________________ Donny.
