Had a look at the first episode of here comes the habibs. Not bad. Didn't LOL but greinned through most of it.
Full of stereotypes but hey, it's a comedy and stereotypes are comedy fodder, plus the stereotype that cops it the most is the wealthy north shore sydney wanker of which I'm fully supportive of taking the p155 out of.

It's not a new show and in fact finished it's six season run last year but Justified is well worth watching.
It's basically about a modern day cowboy, a federal marshall dispensing justice with wit and a quick draw.
It's set in rural Kentucky for the most part which is part of it's charm along with the supporting characters.
Just starting watching season 2 of American crime.
The first season was great and this year looks as promising.
Anyone watched Outlander?
Wondering if it's worth a look?

Although few TV characters will ever be as awesome as Raylan Givens, I'm finding Outsiders to be a fair replacement. Give it a go.

I am thinking this weekend I am going to have to start getting into The Walking Dead, I've been looking at it for so long but haven't actually watched it as yet.
I've had a bit of a Hell's Kitchen, and My Name Is Early addiction, so once I break them it's onto the Walking Dead, and Gotham since I've been ordered to watch that.
I've seen a bit of Justified it's looked like a decent show, Outsiders looked good, I really wanted to check it out because Ryan Hurst and David Morse was in it.

And right on cue after an awesome episode it all goes to shit again. Looking forward to the last 2-3 episodes of the season where they manage to pick it up and suck me back in for the next season.

Yeah I've now seen 6 or so episodes but I can't say it's grabbed me.
Nothing much happens and given who the folk are and the isolated lifestyle they live I can't see how they'll be able to develop enough interesting storylines. |

Watching Lucifer. The devil is bored in Hell and decides to up stumps to LA where he owns a nightclub and becomes intrigued by a young (female, attractive) homicide detective who seems immune to his charms. He joins her in solving various murders and trying to find people to punish.

I've got Netflix, currently delaying gratification. This 'whole season drops at once' thing seems like a great idea, but it does something to you psychologically to watch like 12 hours straight of a TV series and then it's over and you wonder where you are and what time or even day it is, and why did you just watch 12 hours of TV straight?
Going to try and stretch this season out a bit. |
